I am an Amway distributor and they have these non-scratch little scrub pads that I use for everything. Two nights ago, I tried them on glasses that had gotten that film on them that I couldn't get off for years, and they worked perfectly. I wanted to try them on my shower door, but I have finally done some stained glass painting on them to cover up the film. I may try and see if I can use them on inside.

please let me know what you find out!
Make a mixture of white vinegar, water a dab of dawn and a teaspoon of jet dry into a spray bottle.
I had THE WORST hard water stains from well water on shower doors from previous owner...tried EVERYTHING. The thing that finally worked for me was with a razor scraper. Be gentle...you don't want to scratch the glass, but it worked great!
Thank you!
I've always found vinegar works best on hard water stains, give it a good soak down.
If it's shampoo residue (soap scum), use cheap shampoo, and damp soft cloth, use straight from the bottle wipe on, rinse off well. Have heard it's the wax they use in the shampoo as an emulsifier that causes the scum.
I found that if you mixed vinegar and baking soda and then used a soft cloth and smooth over the area then shower this down
