Simple Decoration for the Holidays: Paper Mache Deer Head

Simple decoration for the Holidays: Paper Mache Deer Head, instead of buying an expensive one, I decided to make my own for under $25 this year and displayed it in my living room wall gallery
Paper Mache deer head and wood frame from Deserres
Painted the Paper Mache deer head with white acrylic paint and let it dry overnight
Paint in white the wood frame or any color of your choice, I went with white for winter and then stapled the deer head to the wood frame
Displayed my new Paper Mache in my living room wall gallery for under $25

It looks like a million bucks. Seriously, I have wanted one of those ever since I first saw one. I hope I can find a big P. M head like that up here. I am in Canada, Ontario, but I have never heard of Deserres but we do have Michaels. What part are you from?

Where did you find the deer head? And your link seems to take me to a junk site.

She sited Deserres. I went to their website (looks like they're in Canada), and you can get the paper mache deer head for $26.99 + shipping. Even with the cost of the wood plaque and paint, that's a bargain. Similar ones are going for $75 and up + shipping for that size.
