DIY Stable for Creche

Hi - I need some help in designing plans for a stable for my nativity set. I have a custom 9" set and would like to create a packable stable that either folds and/or comes apart. I also need a loft area for the kneeling angel. My skills are beginner level but I am okay using glue and drills. I do not have much in the way of a saw at this time.... Any Takers???? :)

Can you cut the structure out of a box and cover with specialty papers and dowels and plaster and paint to get the effects that you want then cover the roof with thatch grass or moss, straw in the bottom... Don't know if I've said it so that you can visualize it, but it might be a starting place.

how about balsa wood and cut slits so it fits together then you can take it apart to store

You can use a wine crate/box turned on its side. Wine shops have lots of them, some even for free. Turn it on its side and the wooden wine divider will serve as the loft. Now all you have to do is decorate!
