Cozy Hot Cocoa Station For The Holidays
We were having a snowy day here, so I decided to make a hot cocoa station. Partly to have all the cocoa making supplies in one place and partly to decorate my cabinet top for the holidays. Warning - you and your family will drink twice as much cocoa if you make it super easy to just throw a cup together, so if you're dieting you may want to hide the cocoa supplies :)

I had an empty spot on my enamel topped cabinet that was dying for some holiday decor
Various hot cocoa packets, candy cane sticks, mini marshmallows and chocolate chips corralled in a vintage lunch box (could use a tray or and empty Christmas cookie tin)
These are Starbuck's chilled Mocha Frappuccino bottles that you can find at the grocery and convenience stores. Just peel off labels and spray paint caps
Spoons put in a vintage Santa head mug which was bought at a thrift store
Vintage Kodak Duaflex camera circa 1954-1957 - has no real correlation to the display other than I liked the black color against the reds
Toy car with a bottle brush tree tied to the top, put in a glass jar (they sell similar ones at Walmart and Hobby Lobby). Fake snow put in the bottom.

The only thing I would add is my Sunbeam Hot Shot Water maker. Pour water in it, turn it on, and by the time you've put the cocoa in the cup, the water is ready to add! I ordered mine through Amazon Prime for about $20, but you can probably find one anywhere.
