Can I dye a baby's pram cover and hood at home?

Thank you for your response, it is for my next Grandchild and my daughter is very careful about everything. Would never risk anything that would harm anyone.

I just think that since it is such a little part, I should be able to take off all the sealants added to the fabric. I could then change the colour, and replace with a child friendly sealant. I will let everyone know if I have any success.

The Inside and out are all black, just the hood cover and pram cover we wish to change, that is why I thought it would be easy. As you say child safety is the most important thing. Hope to report back to you soon.
