There's still enough time to purchase 1/2" diamond "hole" drill bits on ebay and insert Xmas lights or purchase wick holders and make backyard citronella candles

Buy some tapers. Whittle the candle bottoms if it's too big for the hole in the bottle. I've seen David Bromstad do it. He's an excellent decorator. Have fun.

Search on pinterest. Directions to easily cut glass, make into a vase or glass, maybe decorate it for a centerpiece.

I've seen "Christmas Trees" made from wine bottles. Great outdoor decoration.
  • ...drill a hole on bottom (side of the bottle, not very bottom)...decorate it with paint of fabric...and you have an incense burner that collects the ash...iits what I do...they make awesome gifts...and they're expensive to purchase like at world market and pier 1...;)

I buy 20 count miniture Christmas lights and ease them down in the bottle then put stopper in and put tiny lampshade on stopper. Then use as nightlight.
