Looking to design a modern baby room? Check out this 'out of the box' mosaic design with an inspiring starburst and pinwheels.
Time: 2 Days Cost: $150 Difficulty: Easy
  • DIY Mosaic Baby Room
Step 1: Choose the colors you want for your room.
Step 2: Use painters tape and just start putting it on the wall. Don't think too much about it.
Step 3: Start Painting
Step 4: Pull tape off to reveal the masterpiece

Step 2: Start putting tape on the walls and don't think too much about it. This is for creating the mosaic wall.
Step 3: We decided to do pinwheels on one wall.
Step 4: Another wall was used to create a starburst.
Peel the paint to reveal!
Beds are from Ikea
Dresser was found at flee market.
Mobile was bought on Etsy.
The colors from the mobile we bought were used as inspiration for the colors on the walls. So find a piece that inspires you and make something beautiful around it!

Materials I used for this project:

  • Various paint colors
  • Paint brushes for each paint color
  • Painter's tape

      So glad you like it! We honestly had no idea how it would all look until we took the tape off. The cool thing about this DIY is you can't really screw it up. You can also tame the look of this mosaic by picking only one color. :)

    great artwork... but I would find it hard to sleep in such a "busy room" maybe a great design for a playroom!
