How can I make my glass shower walls look cleaner?

I have glass shower walls that are badly etched from hard water, etc. that makes them look dirty. I've tried everything to clean them. Is there anything I can use on the outside of these walls to make them appear purposely etched and decorative?

Thank you you so much for any help you may give.

years ago, when trying to get rid of hard water spots, I tried everything from vinegar and dawn dish soap to hard chemicals that proponent - ed they could resolve my problem. I actually ended up using pledge furniture polish and it solved the problem. try a small spot and see how it works for you. Good luck! :)

Be really careful that the overspray doesn't land on the floor because that stuff is very slick and will send you flying. I have also heard that an application of paste wax will repel dirt and water spotting.

I used a half & half mixture of white vinegar & rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle, I thoroughly spray down the door, then I take a green scrubber and put baking soda on it and gently scrub the door leaving a paste of the baking soda on the door. Then I go back and spray again to activate the baking soda with the white vinegar, let it bubble, scrub a little more and rinse off completely. My doors look great! You'll still want to run a fan for ventilation it's a bit smelly but not nearly as bad as other commercial cleaners. You don't have to scrub hard - let the baking soda and vinegar do most of the work. I recommend you do this once a week.

use white vinegar with sponge, leave in on for awhile, then use non-scratch scrubby with more vinegar rub, then wash with water and dry with cloth, when dry the vinegar smell will go away.
