Wingback Chairs

I recently acquired 2 wingback chairs. I love the Idea of turning the 2 chairs into one settee/love seat. has anyone ever attempted this? if so any ideas on how I might approach this project?

I have not seen this done, however I will be interested if you find a way to accomplish this project. Did you see it somewhere?
