Tip: How to Remove Excess Adhesive!

I bought the vinyl planks on sale and even though it looks great, it's flaw was that there is excess adhesive. It gets all over your hands and you have to wash your hands every couple of planks....after installing over half of it, Eureka!!!! I finally discovered that cheap spray furniture polish and a rag gets it off your hands wonderfully. Not to mention it is much cheaper than Goo Be Gone and it works to take up the excess adhesive that oozes out between the edges. Hallelujah.....

I use spray on olive oil or cooking oil. Let it set for a few minutes and off it comes. It is the oil that does it. WD-40 works also. Just in case you don't have furniture polish.
