The only thing I can think of is reupholstering if slipcovers don't fit. I have never done it myself but a word of caution if you have somone else do it.. We had an antique chair done and didn't specify overstuffed and soft and although it's lovely to look at its like sitting on a brick. Good luck!!

I'm right in the middle of chalk painting my loveseat. Clueless as to how this project will progress. I will post pics after i'm sure I wont totally kill it...I am going to try to coordinate it with this chair I just finished. SK on Elderberry

Comfy and old? First clean it. Then "Throws, tons of nice throws". Change colors with seasons. Think gyspy. Relax , it obviouly is not for formal entertaining. Make it even more 'comfy

You can have a professional sew a slip cover. I don't know what type of fabric it is, but you can paint it. Personally, I'd use fabric paint, and sand between layers. Have fun! :)

it is not hard to make a slip cover.....instructions came from a pattern company. you can also take a sheet/ light blanket tuck and fold to fit the the back, seat. if from sheet set the 2 pillow cases go on the arms. use screw type pins to keep it in place.
