The Vermont Winter Garden
I don't know what it's like where you live, but here in Vermont December is a cold month. Not much happening in the garden, in fact it's covered with a light dusting of snow and the ground is frozen solid. However inside I am surrounded by beautiful blossoms. I can dream of spring and enjoy the beauty in my living room!

Lovely! I agree with Douglas.. I must try this in the future... It's perfect for those days we suffer from the Winter blues!

I too live in Vermont and my houseplants keep me busy and happy all winter. African Violets are blooming as is a mini rose, orchids and Christmas Cactus. They all give me such joy! I also like the look of the garden in winter with the snow and gives me time to plan for next year!
