Yes - like vinegar and water mix!
Marble floors are tough to clean! I believe they have a finishing coat on top that eventually wears off from washing with harsh cleaners,
preventing the really nice shine. I have found that they need to be washed with a mild (not vinegar) cleaner, and not much of it, then dried. I wring the mop out really well so the floors aren't too wet, then dry with a lint free cloth to prevent water spots. Check with a floor expert about having them refinished.
