DIY Ballard Designs Knockoff Message Board

Easy
I'm not the first blogger to do this project, but mine might be the cheapest! ;) Here's my tutorial on how to create a burlap message board that looks just like the pricey ones from Ballard Designs. This one takes two hours and just a few bucks.
Here's my version. Bonus: Can you spot the furry photobomber?
I started with cardboard and a leftover melamine board (check the post for more things that could work as a backing).
I used spray adhesive to glue everything together.
I stretched some burlap around the cardboard front and glued it with spray adhesive.
Upholstery tacks finished the look.
Here's a look at the inspiration pieces from Ballard Designs. Did I hit the mark?

It looks really great, Susan! I had to look closer for the furry photobomber - cutie! He blends in very well, lol!
