Building a Tiny Home :: Pigment-dyed Gypsum Plaster

As an alternative to the traditional method of finishing drywall by mudding, sanding, and then painting, we experimented with tinting a gypsum plaster with natural pigments, and applying it to the wall as a thick plaster. While we need to tweak a few aspects of the process, this proves to be a beautiful alternative to paint for our walls.

@Angela Terry Collins I'm going to have to get the exact name for you. We used the wrong product the first time we plastered, and the results were less than stunning! But this summer we did the remainder of the house and it is really gorgeous!
