Too many unknowns here to answer intelligently. A picture would be worth more than a thousand words in this case. What is the top made of? Plywood, solid wood glue up, particle board, melamine, etc. How is it attached to the base? How bad is the warp? Are individual boards cupped or is the whole top skewed? A simple picture of the top and underside would clear a lot up. Can’t really answer your question until we can see what exactly is causing the problem.
A picture would be awesome, but I have had luck with warped wood by using water - wetting it and bending it to the shape needed and bracing it until it dries.
Too many unknowns............but if you do get it straightened out, and then want to refinish the top; make sure you apply the same number of coats of finish to the BOTTOM that you do to the top, otherwise, your warp probably will return.
I accidentally straightened a table for a friend. I was refinishing it and working on my car at the same time. I put tubs of car parts on it just to store them. It was about 3 weeks. When I finished my car, the weight of the parts sitting on the warped table top, straightened it out. Try a lot of weight, like concrete blocks but don't scratch the top. Cover it with something. Maybe 10 or 15 blocks for a few weeks will straighten it out like it did mine. I had a lot of weight on mine for weeks. I was surprised that it straightened perfectly. Charged her for the job 200.00. She was tickled to death and wanted to know how I did it. Told her that is why I charged 200. I knew, she didn't. My secret.

lay it flat in your basement cement floor and weight it down.
