Potting Shed Featured in She Sheds: A Room of Your Own

I have an exciting bit of news to share. My Potting Shed is featured in She Sheds: A Room of Your Own, by Erika Kotite, published by Cool Springs Press/Quarto Publishing Group, available January 15th!
My little shed was honored to be included among the examples of she sheds in this book! You can find her in the “Sheds for Gardeners” chapter. Other chapters in the book include “What’s Your Shed Style?”, “The Artist’s Studio”, “Old-Soul Sheds”, “Stylish Sheds”, “Backyard Getaways”, and “Build a She Shed from a Kit”.
Potting Shed in She Sheds: A Room of Your Own
We built my Potting Shed in 2012. You see how she’s grown and find some seeds of inspiration at the potting shed tab on my blog.

You can compare the photo above with the one below to see how I use my shed with projects shared here at Hometalk like my Garden Catalog Wreath. You can find that on the projects tab.
“Putting the ‘she’ in a gardening shed means adding a little something extra— a comfortable place to sit, a few decorative touches, or maybe collections to celebrate the art of gardening.” ~Erika Kotite, She Sheds: A Room of Your Own.
"Nesting and Window Dressing" is a post I shared here at Hometalk with my twig drapery rods and landscape burlap windows. And "Skirting the Issue" is another project shared that you can find under the projects tab about my countertop solution and skirting the work areas of my Potting Shed.
"Chalking it up to April Showers" is my $12 salvaged door with a broken pane. I replaced the pane with a board and used chalkboard paint on the board and added knobs to hang jars to hold chalk and flowers. You can see more photos and find this at the project tab.
This is the exterior side of the chalkboard door and the back of the Potting Shed. You can see more on the project tab and post, "Planting Vintage Charm With Old Garden Tools".
You can find my Potting Shed 2016 Year in Review with highlights from the seasons and holidays on my blog if you're look for some inspiration for your garden or she-shed!
