Feeling proud: DIY Water Hose Holder

Ccc
by Ccc
My husband needed a holder for the water hose. We dug up the pole left from having a satellite and a spare rim. Works perfect! Husband is happy only spent money on bag of cement, 2 bolts and washers, otherwise used what we had at the house.

I bolt these in 2 rows up one of the walls in my garden shed so there is a place to hang all my hoses during the winter, they make it so much easier to get the hoses to use in the gardens the next spring . The hoses never get tangled because I screw the ends of a hose together to prevent loose ends . I separate the hoses, the regular ones are separated by length on different holders, and then the soaker hoses are separated by length and by size (1/2", 5/8") and hung on the other row of holders. Makes life much easier for me at 71 yrs old, esp. since I don't have things piled on the floor to trip me.
