Frog Valentine Holder From Milk Carton

Are you looking for something other than a shoebox to decorate for school Valentine’s Day parties? I have a really fun Valentine holder craft idea for you: make a Frog Prince who can hold your child’s Valentines! I’m participating in a fun Valentine’s Day with Plaid Crafts promotion and had a blast using Apple Barrel Paints and Mod Podge for Kids to create this cute alternative to a box.
Supplies:

Milk Container

Egg Carton

Mod Podge Washout for Kids

Apple Barrel Acrylic Paints in various colors

Card Stock

Glitter

Felt

Glue gun
Adult assistance required!
***It’s important to seal the paint with a product like Mod Podge Washout for Kids, otherwise the paint will chip and flake off the milk jug with use. I painted one layer of MP Washout over the entire container to prevent paint chipping.
For fun finishing touches I added googly eyes and a felt tongue. Instead of a fly, my frog prince has captured someone’s heart!

My daughter loves her Frog Prince Valentine holder, and my three year old, who doesn’t even go to school yet, wants one of his own. We’ll have fun making a frog prince together! Hopefully you and your children will have fun creating your own frog princes to take to class parties. I doubt anyone will have one exactly like yours!

I'm with Missy^^^ Do you have a finished pic? I would love to see a finished product. My mom loves frogs and she don't have anything like this, I think she would really really love this, especially if I made it!
