I have a large rock fireplace, and really it is to big for the room. I tried painting it, which I now have a huge beige fireplace. I have arthritis, and on a fixed income. If ya'll have any ideas please, please tell me?!

Need photos or measurements. Put up shelving with concrete bolts if wide. load up with keep sakes. If tall, put up a large clock made from anything, barn wood etc. Get the clock part from a hobby or craft store. Get some super large art. The smaller the décor, the larger the fireplace appears. of course the larger the art well you know

You can use the furniture that you already have to shape the room. Station your couches around the fireplace. Decorate and embellish your couches and furniture to bring out the decor feeling that you'd like. You can use throw blankets, and pretty pillows, ect. Sounds like you can make it into a really nice, cozy, inviting space. Please do share your finished look!

    Hey there Cyndy,

Do you use the fireplace for fires? That limits your choices....but if you don't use it, say so, and I will give you some GREAT tips.
