Kathy, we need more info. Is it in closet,basement,garage,linens,please add some more info so we can all give you ideas. And even if it is all of that then purge by donating what you really don't need.

Hi, I keep them in a plastic container in my linen closet. They are tiny black bugs that eat holes in the gingerbread men and women. They are decorations I use during the holidays all over the kitchen. The closet is carpeted so it is not on a bare floor.

  Hi, Thanks to all who commented. They are not large gingerbread men and women. I store them in plastic containers and this time I sealed it in zip lock baggies. I was thinking there would be something that would deter the bugs from getting into them. One commented that they don't like cinnamon or cloves. I wonder if I put some cloves in the container if that would work. They are stored in a dry place not a basement.
