Favorite Gardening Projects

Oh, Hillela, don't ask me to choose! icon

I have to admit...winter is the looooongest part of the year for me. So, I appreciate the email asking us to share our gardening projects from the past year.

This one was the most work...our two-tier stacked stone garden wall...
You can read about it here on hometalk at:

We liked it so much we're planning to do another this spring...while our backs still work.

Winter is looong in Western NY...and we've found a great way to enjoy the yard year-round through another on-going gardening project: outdoor lighting.

I posted about weaving string lights though your ground cover here: http://www.hometalk.com/diy/decorate/christmas/how-to-make-your-garden-glow-21477645
But the project that's had the most impact on how we enjoy the yard during the winter is the DIY uplighting. Ours features low-cost LED lights and extension cords.

And you can read about that here:

More detail on all projects are, of course, available at DustandDoghair.com.

Happy planning!
