Shelf With Baskets for My Kitchen Counter.

Victoria
by Victoria
This wood is scrap lumber from my wood pile. I looked long and hard to the right sized wire baskets and finally had to compromise. I found them at HL for 50% off. I built the shelf to fit the baskets. The cups I found at Marshalls last year for 1.50 each. I printed the Ikea towels and now store them in the baskets instead of in a linen closet. Total cost 14.00 for the baskets.

love the little shelf, and that's a great idea building around the baskets when you can't find the size you want. thanks

Isn't funny how we build the shelf/item then go looking for accompanying items. It should be the other way around.

Love it! Just got a cart load of free wood shelving from a local retailer that moved that I can use for the shelf and I can cut dishwasher-safe vinyl letters with my Pazzles InVue Cutting Machine for the white Ikea mugs I already have! This is a great final piece to the puzzle for the cocoa/cider/herbal tea station I've been planning for my kitchen. Thanks for the inspiration!
