Make a small hole in the cap and put it upsides down into your plant...it will drip slowly overtime and water your plantswhile you are on vacation. I learned this last spring when we went away for a week, our plants didn't die. Awesome trick, thought I'd share!

Don't know why I didn't think of that!!!! I travel to see my kids and by the time I get home, my plants are droopy. They remind me of the movies with the guy dragging his dehydrated body thru the hot, desert sun complete with cracked lips and always looking to that mirage of a beautiful blue lake just out of reach!!! It's a wonder someone has not called the Plant Police on me. Will use this technique from now on. My plants and I are grateful for sharing this idea with all of us.
