Rescued Maple Countertop Recycled Into Shelves & Cutting Boards
Last summer I found these three pieces of a maple countertop lying along the roadside marked FREE. I picked them knowing that at some point I would find the perfect home for them. This winter I made them into kitchen shelves and two new cutting board areas; one high counter cutting board for my tall husband and one for me on my kitchen island, for me. Bleached and oiled they have found a new life in my kitchen. Reuse, recycle and repurpose!
