Using Unicorn Spit on fabric?

I have seen the entry on painting the stool.
I want to paint yardage. Is that possible? It seems that the fabric is too absorbant? I can see how it works on leather.

After researching there were mixed review. I read the above post,which is great but that was not on a piece of fabric but a couch of different material. My advice since this is so expensive is to reach out to the company.
If you go to their facebook page, the creator of Unicorn SPiT, shows it being used on a thrift store wedding dress. You should ask questions there.
