  1. I have a sectional that was ruined over the holidays by the cleaners. I gave them the cushion covers to dry clean and it was ruined in the process. I would like some ideas I could use to make this sectional useful again.

There are several options available. On many occasions you can call the manufacturer and purchase new coverlets. Or, you can put in a bid to professional upholsters who have better access to the materials required to recover the cushions or create new. You can also hand the bill for either of these options to the cleaners.

Smile when you hand the bill to the cleaners. Perhaps a new hire took on more than it should have. If the Cleaners have a good reputation. It is wise to maintain a positive attitude. You never know when a smile of forgiveness could help put them in mind to find better teaching methods. I can readily identify with your problem. I adore playing with fabrics of every kind. Often it is hard to find Cleaners with the skill to assist in cleaning tests for new markets. So, if you luck out and find one that makes few errors. Is willing to admit to error; fix it. Don't give them up easily. I can imagine making curtains to match that amazing sectional.

call b.b.b they provided a service that made your couch unusable...in the mean time do you have the cushions?..you could buy three matching blankets..and sew ribbon to each corner..tie ..under neath of cushion and easily remove to wash ..i would cover cushions you can use velcro tape to secure not zippers

the b.b.b can "mediate" a settlement for you on the phone..they may pay for all of cost for new cushions or 1/2

You can file a small claims lawsuit yourself. You would have to go to court and present your case to a Judge, but it's not as difficult as it sounds.

There is a monetary cap so I don't know how much your cushions are worth.

I had to do it for an oriental rug they ruined on me. It's a lot of paperwork, but way less than hiring an attorney!

    Good Luck!

In what way are they ruined?

I see the cushions are missing from the couch. Were they totally destroyed?

Do you have the foam inserts or the material? I'd love to know how this all turns out.

    Wishing you the best!
