  Baking soda and vinegar is what I use and I have the "one piece" fiberglass shower/tub inserts that were cheap and "builder special" at the time my house was built. I have a "mid-80's box" as I refer to it. Decently built as far as structure is concerned, but mass produced tract home with no personality. Hope this helps!

Easy Off No Fume Oven Cleaner in the BLUE can. Spray it on, let it foam up, let it set for a few minutes, then rinse.

  I agree, my mom's house was built in 1926 and that is what I used one time to get rid of a mess someone made. Worked like a charm. For rust I use CLR.

Yes, Grace! It won't hurt the enamel. I have seen vintage tub refinishers use it to deep clean the tubs on TV.
