Vintage Lace Ornament
Reuse lace on your old tops/ skirts and turn them into Christmas Ornaments! I used some beautiful vintage lace that I found for free through one of our local Facebook yard sale groups. These look so delicate and angelic on my tree!
All you need to make these beauties are of course lace, water balloons, fabric stiffener, and a lot of patience.
The process is very similar to how you'd make a yarn ball. Douse loads of fabric stiffener on the lace while meticulously covering the balloon with the lace and let id dry.
As they dry they harden to touch and the lace almost becomes egg shell like.
