Lighter fluid will take them off. A small can of lighter fluid will last for years.
WD40
will that also work for the labels on Pom juice?
Goo Gone or WD40. Scrape off the surface paper with a fingernail.
Hair dryer on hot will do the trick. Scrap it off while the dryer is getting the sticker hot.
I never thought of that, thanks!!! Ill give it a try!
I use lighter fluid too. The tiny nozzle is perect for targeted application and I use a "used" gift card for scraping the gummy paper off. In some cases a second squirt of lighter fluid to remove residual adhesive haze and a wipe with a kleenex.
Spray on cooking oil. I like spray on olive oil best. Let it set for awhile and then scrub with a scrubby and rinse with hot water. If it doesn't all come off, repeat until it does.
I like orange oil better than GooGone.
Regular isoprophyl rubbing alcohol !!
thanks,I will try tonight.
Hey, you gals are all good! I've used most of these and they do work. Using WD40 (with the straw in the nozzle) on anything glass or ceramic, just spray it on the sticker and let it sit overnight or throughout the day and you can peel the sticker off all in one piece with ease. If there is any residue, use GoGone and a paper towel.
For me, the most convenient has been getting as much paper off as I can by soaking it in hot, soapy water. Then I smear peanut butter (the oilier the better), let it sit awhile. Then I rub the peanut butter on it one more time with just my finger and then run under hot water. The remaining paper & all the glue come right off. Hope all the suggestions help!!!!
All of these will work, but the hair dryer is the fastest by far, and leaves no oily residue.

Use awesome will do
The spray lables lift
Right off buy at dollar
Stores.
Here's something that is less toxic than goo-gone and lighter fluid. Mix equal parts of coconut oil and baking soda. Apply to label, let sit for 5-10 minutes and rub off.
This has worked for me when other methods haven't.
Hair Dryer turned on High. Scrape the sicker with your finger nail to get it started. When it starts to stick again turn the heat on again. Be patient and it will come off clean! Gail Memphis, Tennessee
Peanut butter
I use baby oil on a cotton ball. Put enough on to let it absorb into the paper. If it's really tough, wait a couple of minutes and rub the sticker with the baby oil soaked cotton ball. Clean as much as you can. Then get a clean cotton ball and use rubbing alcohol. This usually takes the whole sticker off.
Baby oil or you can actually use your cooking oil and rub until it rolls off then wash glass to get the oil off! I have done this for years with glass and it never fails.
I have tried the standard, basic, items sold for the purpose of removing labels and their glue. They are rather labor intensive sometimes. One day I was cleaning up paint brushes with paint thinner and just swiped a glass jar that had to have label removed. I had already peeled the outer part of label off but glued white film remained. Within a few seconds I took a rag and wiped the jar....it came out sparkling and free of any glue. Now that is all I use on glass. A little goes a long way.
Olive oil :)
Orange glo & a cotton cosmetic pad works for me.
Just wet the lable with vegetable oil (sunflower or olive) , wait some minutes
and then brush and wash as usual. Regards from Siberia, Russia.
wd40
Any kind of oil ....... vegetable, coconut, olive, baby ......
Or anything just oily in general. (like peanut butter, wd40, wood oil, etc.)
WD40. spray or wipe on. Wait a few minutes for it to soak in. Wash off with warm water and a kitchen scrubbie.
Googone. Best ever! Most stores carry it. or soak over night in soapy water. Also if you air brush, use Air Brush restorer. Works on almost everything, removing gummy labels to paint to spots on clothes. It is wonerful. I ordered mine from Bics.
Hot water,steam,or goo gone!
goof off
goo gone!
I heat them with a hair dryer peel off then use goo gone for residue.
Soak in water for a while and scrub the worst off, then lighter fluid will take the sticky residue off.
I too use Goo Gone. Works great.
Bonnie Bahr of Catonsville, MD got it right !
Goof-Off !
Much better than the 'dollar store' Goo-Gone.
Have both - used both ....Goof-Off is the best one of the two !
Let soak in hot water. Then use goobegone
Soak in hot water for about 10 mins then use equal parts oil and soda bicarb and rub the label off
Jewel is right, a blow dryer - works with any sticker on most any surface. Only think I use anymore to remove stickers. And the dab of Goo Gone or WD40 will take of residue if any is left.
Peanut butter. Rub some on, let it sit for an hour or so. Rubs right off:-)
Use coconut oil!
Try to peel off any of the sticker that might be loose. Submerge in hot water for a while, then rub or peel off any of the label you can. Rubb the sticky residue with coconut oil will do the trick! This works for me every time, and I like the fact that I don't use any creepy chemicals.
Any type of oil will remove the sticky, it just needs something to attach to, I use a cotton ball and vegetable oil.
I use Goo Gone works great. I found if I sprayed them, then let them sit, all labels come off very easy
Rubbing alcohol. Pour some on and rub it around with your fingers. I've used goo gone buy its too oily for some things. alcohol works great !!!
I use contractor's solvent. It is citrus based, and Less smell than goo gone, plus, it works better too! Amazon carries it if your local hardware store doesn't.
you want fun try peanut butter on sticky lables do not eat afterwards
Baby oil; let soak for 5 minutes.
They did this on My Hacked Life and used 3 methods... peanut butter, hair dryer and I think the last was just oil. The fastest way was with a hair dryer and it was the cleanest too. I was shocked, I never knew a hair dryer could work. The worst was peanut butter lol. So stick w/the dryer ;)
Goo gone is very effective.... tried and tested it myself!
