Tip: Removing Hard Water Deposits

by LESLEY
I am sure everyone knows this tip but I have always lived with soft water and when I moved to Calgary... well there is so much scaling on the taps, the pots and the sinks! My friend told me about white vinegar and WOW... it works like a charm ... no scrubbing! Just put it in the pot or soak a cloth and drape it over the tap or sink and presto... white icky scales are GONE! icon .

Anyone else tried it or have other methods?

Absolutely.... best way to get urine smells (from young bed wetters) out of the mattress to and for kitty litter boxes!

I also use vinegar. Just did my kitchen sink and it looks wonderful. In the past I've used Lysol toilet bowl cleaner, it works great but you have To be careful cause it can take the finish off some types of faucets.
