How can I do a Fireplace Reno for $300??

During Jan 29-31, 2017 you had a fireplace reno, in the email I received. It was in a room with an angled ceiling and the person made a faux front all the way up to the ceiling, it was what I was looking for. They had also put a new front on the fireplace. It looked great! When I went back to check it out, I haven't been able to find it. Can you help

This is ours.. but i was thinking for anyone not willing to spend ir work as hard.. wall board could be used to cover and paint instead of sheetrock less work and expense.
