I've been storing my grocery bags like this for a long time, just thought I would share this for you girls and guys that are just stuffing them in a bag hanging on a door knob. This will take up less space and make it easy for reuse. And if you have to many, it will be a great way to give them to a recycling store, they always need them.
My fisrts step is to enlarge the opening
Then I tape the opening with duck tape, to prevent tearing
Now when you come home from shopping, just fold you grocery bags. Just pass your hands over them to take all the air out.
Folds them in 3 parts.
Fold them in 3 again.
Now they are easy to put in the tissus box.
You can use different boxes for different size bag. They take much less space in your cubbard or under you kitchen island. When they are full, just start another box and give the full one to your closest charity store or recycling store.
Suggested materials:
  • Empty tissus box
  • Duck tape
  • Scissors
