So many people have done and posted this project. I could never image ours would come out as nice. Such small changes make such a big impact. I just had to share our before and after. We framed the mirror with (2) different moldings, painted vanity and added brushed nickel hardware. I love the results. The wall color although hard to tell is Grey Clouds (Sherwin Williams) the cabinet we painted a deeper grey Dovetail also (Sherwin Williams).

Camera angle is different, darker vanity color, knobs adde, pained room lights on and towels hanging frame on mirror and basket on counter, that's the change, right?

Love framing the mirror. Now I know what to do with mine. Was thinking of removing and replacing it but this is perfect. Thankyou. The vanity is beautiful!!

Yes, framing that mirror is a GREAT idea! I have a huge mirror over my double sink that I'd like to do the same to - is the frame attached to the mirror somehow?

Yes liquid nails for mirrors. Other options as well at hardware stores.

I LOVE this idea of framing the mirror. Unfortunately, if your mirror is put up with holders and not glued to the wall, it is challenging. I'm exploring carving out a niche in the molding to go over these, but I have yet to figure it out. It does not look good at all if it stands out away from the mirror!

Hope it works out for you.
