Make inexpensive plant labels/markers for your garden and houseplants! All you need is some leftover paint, paint stirring sticks, glue and Scrabble tiles.

Two old Scrabble sets were found at yard sales for next to nothing. The paint stirring sticks were free from the paint store. Chalkboard paint left over from another project really highlights the letter tiles glued on with some Duco Cement’

This is so easy!


Paint the stirring sticks (I used two coats of paint)


Glue the Scrabble tiles on with DucoCement glue
I made some with wooden tiles and some with plastic tiles. They all look great and will be featured in our Master Gardener fundraiser this spring!
