My chinese chest needs it's top fixed!
I have a small chest on legs my Aunt bought on a trip to China 50 yr ago. The top finish is slightly cloudy and looks dirty, there are two colors of stain on it. Can I lightly sand and put what top coat on it to bring back the nice finish?

Use Formby's Furniture Refinisher. Not knowing what the finish is you can actually cause more damage by sanding and a top coat. The chemicals in different topcoats may not be compatible and react with each other causing more problems.....

Id also suggest to try a small,area first to test out the product first bc its older.
