Cheap and Easy Wooden Poster Hangers

Want to see how you can make a simple and inexpensive wooden poster hanger? Let me show you how I made mine. It all started with a pile of wood lath strips that our neighbor gave us when he was remodeling his 100-year-old home. This ended up being the easiest wall art project I've ever done!
The wooden lath was free from our neighbor. When given the chance, always use salvaged wood! Also, always use caution with rusty old nails.
Materials used: I found the knock off Restoration Hardware Lithograph Maps on Etsy. You can find the link on my blog by clicking the link at the bottom of this tutorial. I also used lath wood strips, a staple gun, and (4) D-rings that I spray painted oil-rubbed bronze. I chose to not use the twine and hung the posters from the d-rings so they never get crooked.
Once, you’ve gathered all your supplies, the rest is super simple. Just staple your poster to the back of the lath strips and add D-rings. These posters are printed on thick paper. If your paper is thin, add a strip of masking tape to strengthen it before you staple.
What kind of artwork would you use these poster hangers for?
