How do you shovel fast? Is there anything you do that helps the process along?

Try this: Spray your shovel, front and back, with cooking oil spray, like Pam. This should keep all or most of the snow from sticking to the shovel. This should eliminate the annoying extra step of knocking the leftover snow from the shovel after each time you lift and toss a pile of snow. And don't forget to lift all shovelfuls safely. Good Luck.

Don't fill the shovel with as much as you can possibly lift. Smaller, faster loads will make it easier on your body.

My technique involves all of the above except I use WD 40 as a spray.
