70s Mediterranean Dresser Makeover - The Beautiful Beast

8 Hours
Medium
I used all kinds of popular chalk and clay based paints by CeCe Caldwell and Annie Sloan, their waxes and the new mica powders from American Paint Company to give this hulking 70s Mediterranean dresser a whole new look! Check out my blog for the how-to...
I posed it as a media console to show people how big and beautiful it is! PS, I didn't have the energy to move my real media console...no judging! :)
Before...sorry, seller's pic was pretty bad!
This is the APC mica powders in Silver, Pewter and Black mixed with some clear wax.
My before shot...kind of! I was also debating whether to go light or dark on the drawers!
The mica/wax mix really added some beautiful depth without being too glittery!
The details on the drawers are just gorgeous, I am mediterranean furniture obsessed now!
Brassy hardware was a NO GO for the colors I used!
The hardware had it's own makeover...love!
Cool shot and angle of the dresser...in case you ever want to lie on the floor and look at it from the corner.
