I saw an eco-friendly oven cleaner here on hometalk... 5 orange peels in a mason jar, cover with vinegar and let sit a few days... it works great! I sprayed it on the oven floor kinda heavy so it wouldn't just dry out quick, let it sit overnight and the cooked on food just glides off. Plus- it smells like oranges and is non toxic.

This also makes a great everyday spray on cleaner!

I hate those awful chemicals - yuk. I heat up the oven a little, then use soapy water and an SOS pad. It's not any more work than caustic oven cleaner, and maybe less. (Thank goodness for self-cleaning ovens.)

I have self cleaning double ovens but I've never used the feature. I sprinkle baking soda on the oven floor and spray it with water until damp. Let it stay on for a few minutes and wipe. For bad spills I repeat the process. Works like a charm for me!

I love this one, I use it for everything, not just for my oven!
