For the tile fireplace would you consider adding a mantle? I love the look and then you can change the styling on the mantle seasonally, or whenever you'd like!

How do I hang family portraits for a gallery wall?
Hi! Beautiful space! I love color and art! Corner by windows I'd put a large fiddle leaf plant in a large black planter, either a large round mirror, or something like a beautiful,Indian blanket , a really cool colorful macrame hanging, collection of gears,a cool natural slice of wood,...right side floating shelves deep enough to really put stuff on,
not too short, and wide enough with space on each side. Far right wall a console table for a lamp or two . And either a large mirror or painting. Buy if you like on line from real artists just starting out,or make your own ( sending photos I found on Pintrest for ideas)
you can also do a floor to ceiling photo Gallery. On mantle, does TV go there? I'd cover it with art,saw a folding doors style cover for the TV's.
I would position all the furniture first, before putting anything on the walls. This way, you can create zones and you can choose the appropriate art for each zone and where it should go. Someone commented that you could install a mantle to break up the space. I think that is a great idea. You can also isolate each zone with area rugs. Nothing like a blank canvas to work with. Good luck.
Instead of framed art you could paint a scene on the side wall or even get one of those scenic curtains and pin it up.
I think some Shiplap would look great above the fireplace. As for the long wall, a family photo gallery worked for me.
hi,I think that you should put a full length mirror to open up the space, you should probably also thread beads onto some string and hang it on your wall it would look beautiful .You could also hang a few paintings on the wall. lastly, you should put a little coffee table in the middle of the room and add some flowers to the table and then your room would look complete.
