Can I change a electric coil range top for a glass top?

    The controls likely are different even if the glass top will fit on the stove.

    A glass top likely would have to come through the repair parts department for your range. Repairs plus the freight and an electrician to put this together likely would cost more than a new range with the glass top already on it. Watch the paper for sales at the big box stores.
