Thanks for your awesome suggestions from the other day on revamping my Ikea drawers! I have not gotten around to yet (as you can see behind me :) ) and before I did, I wanted to hear your ideas on decorating my mirror! What should I do? Then I’m so ready to get diy-ing!!Thanks everyone!

I responded but my message isn't coming up, so let me try this again...

I can see two options for your mirror. One way is young and fun: all you need is flat black paint and colored glitter. Paint your frame black and while the paint is still wet sprinkle glitter in the palm of your hand and lightly blow it on your frame. I prefer gold glitter, but any color will work. I did my bathroom walls like this above the wainscotting and the effect was like a night sky. People loved it.

My second option is more classy and would work very well with your frame. Paint your frame with a flat blue/green patina colored paint. Then get some metallic brass or copper paint and lightly rub it over your frame with a rag, leaving the patina color exposed in the nooks and crannies. People will think you paid a lot for it when you really paid under $10.
