Easy Way to Unclog Drain With Common Household Products
That is what I do! Pour baking soda down the drain, then pour some vinegar down and quickly cover the drain with a cloth. The foaming pressure will push the clog. Cover both drains in a double bowl sink. Cover the overflow hole on a bathroom sink. Cover the overflow in a bathtub.
I do the same! Afterwards and before the process, I pour a cup of boiling water down the drown as well
Liquid Lightning Drain Opener works on sinks and toilets
My husband used the shop vac on a clogged kitchen sink just last week. It is a double sink so he just put the plug in the other one. Out came a plastic knife covered with all kinds of crap! Drain runs great now.
First we tried the natural baking soda and vinegar and hot water... No go... (ha ha literally... )
Then we tried the liquid drain cleaner, barely a difference.
Last what we used worked so slick. It was the bathroom drain with hair and soap hardened to it, so the others just wouldn't dissolve it. This pulled it right out!! It's a type of drain snake, but super skinny and only about 20" long. No taking apart plumbing needed either.
