If you install a good fan that has an outside exhaust, it should be okay. If you live in a beach community, you may need a dehumidifier for the problem.
when we've canned the garden produce, we put a box fan in a window blowing the air out. some hood vents don't actually vent outside. the air is run thru a filter and recirculated.
