Who makes the best pinking shears?

My current pair are ancient and have seen better days. I would love to invest in a quality product. What are your best recommendations? Back in the day, I worked at "Cloth World" - anyone remember that fabric store chain? We had a scissor and knife sharpening event about every 3 months. I miss those days! Thanks in advance!

  Yes! I have Fiskars also, but had my Ginghers for over 20 years, a worthwhile investment. (they got lost in a move, but saving to get another pair.) The regular scissors, I still have and they cut through material like butter.

I use Fiskars and I do a lot of sewing. Jo Anns still has someone who goes and sharpens scissors.

Jo Anns doesn't usually advertise. They only post it on a poster in the store window. Happy I could help.

  Well then, no wonder I never know! Thank you! That is great info. My Jo Anns is across town far enough that it is a planned trip. Will make sure to do a drive by when in that part of town and look for a sign or poster. Learned another new thing today. ☺

I believe that fiskars/gingher still offer sharpening of scissors through mail. Not sure about price.
I've had both brands and am partial to gingher.but I haven't needed to buy any new sewing / crafting scisdors since b4 the consolidation of the 2 companies.

  Wow! Thanks! I learned something new today! I will be purchasing in store as I need to "feel" them to know if I can actually use them. My plan is to pick up a cheap piece of remnant fabric and keep buying and trying scissors till I find the ones that fit before actually leaving the store.
