Build Your Own Raised Bed Colonial Gardens

My husband and I after visiting Colonial Williamsburg were impressed with how well and efficiently the colonists grew food for themselves in such a small space. We wanted to build our own colonial raised bed gardens on our 1/3 of an acre and we did! Come check it out!
This is the final result of all of our hard work. I love it and hope you do too!
Our hand built fountain which I will be sharing about soon is the centerpiece of our garden! The bees love it!
My husband climbed up to get this wonderful aerial photograph!
A close up on our centerpiece of the garden. This also serves as the drinking fountain for our bees!
The beginning of the garden is beginning to look an actual raised bed garden.

This is also a perfect remedy for a dog that digs. Stops them in their tracks and they won't go back. Works for me every time.

@Lisa McDaniel The small mouse traps work great....set them around the areas where you want to keep the animals out and when they get in there, the "SNAP" from them setting them off scares them silly!! They take off out of there like they'd been shot! It doesn't hurt the animals because the traps are so small (Unless you have tiny animals with tiny little feet...I wouldn't use it around them.)
