Sequined & Stenciled Tray Made With a Picture Frame

If you want a unique personalized tray to give as a gift, you can easily make a tray out of a picture frame. Add some scrapbook paper, stencils, mementos of a trip or a concert and you have a one-of-a-kind gift for yourself or someone else!
A tray made with a deep picture frame and sequined scrapbook paper
Here's the inspiration photo. this tray was for my sister. This photo just screams "her!"
Here's the supplies: picture frame with very deep sides, scrapbook paper and cabinet handles (from any home improvement store).
Use the mat from the frame as a guide to cut scrapbook paper to size. Put the scrapbook paper in the frame.
OOPS, I cracked part of the frame while putting the glass back in. Filled it with wood filler, repainted the frame black and then stenciled the sides of the frame with silver paint.
I used a tribal stencil to contrast with the sparkly sequins. After the step of stenciling the sides of the tray, you can add the cabinet handles on two sides of the tray. I didn't get a photo of that step.
