I filled the glass gallon jar with some glass marbles and used the do it yourself lamp kit from Walmart and put in a lightbulb, connected it and it worked!

i made a lamp with an antique glass Clorox gallon jar! I put some glass marbles inside to help balance it! I love your Hometalk show!
Looks great - I'm sure it's a conversation starter! Thank you so much for not doing any permanent changes to the bottle, too! Some of the shared projects on this site just curl my toes when I see what folks want to do to old objects, haha!
I lke the lamp
I even have one of these bottles...found in the "ground" floor basement of our farmhouse. Wasn't sure what to do with it - definitely not pitch it!
