We don't have gutters and the rain fall is digging a trench, Help!

What can I do? Thanks!

    One way would be to install gutters and downspouts. Any water hitting the ground can affect the foundation and structural integrity. The object is to divert the water away from the home. What you can do is line some stone along where the rainwater hits the ground to prevent any further erosion. Also you can grade the ground around the house by building up the soil and slope it away from the foundation diverting the water away.

    Hello,

    Well you know the way the water is going..Great!. You can put a corrugated plastic pipe.Then some stone...Perhaps small river rock would be nice.This is called a french drain,Be mindful as to route it away from the house.

    if it is pouring right now and you have no time, you can put cookie sheets or even covers to totes out there till you can install your own home made cheap gutters.
